PanelBoy Controls was founded in February 2013 by Mario Martinez, whose lifelong passion for electronics and craftsmanship began when he was just 16 years old. Mario pursued formal training in Industrial Electronics and Industrial Technology, leading him to become a skilled troubleshooter and dependable electrician in manufacturing for over a decade. He and his wife, Lesli Martinez, who serves as the General Manager, established the company to build a positive, team-oriented workplace. The company is composed of experienced personnel including Controls Technicians, and they also run an in-house apprenticeship program to develop new talent.

PanelBoy Controls LLC specializes in the assembly, wiring, and integration of custom control panels for industrial and commercial applications, supporting OEMs, contractors, and system integrators. They offer both in-house services through their UL-certified panel shop, which provides UL508A compliant panels, and field-based services. The company builds control systems to specification or designs them from scratch, focusing on quality, safety, and on-time delivery. Additionally, their technicians provide essential on-site services such as troubleshooting, modifications, startup assistance, and seamless integration with automation components like PLCs and VFDs to keep operations running smoothly.
