Erus Energy

Erus Energy was a solar energy company founded in 2004/2005 and headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. It served as a residential and commercial solar installer, offering a holistic solution that included solar system design, installation, energy reduction, monitoring, maintenance, and a range of financing options (cash, finance, lease, or power purchase agreement). The company’s goal was to make clean, renewable energy accessible to everyone, helping customers maximize their solar investment and create a smaller environmental footprint. Erus Energy primarily operated across markets in Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas, and had an integrated team dedicated to delivering value and service.

The company was acquired by GPB Capital in August 2016 and grew to serve over 25,000 clients. Erus Energy installed solar systems using equipment from manufacturers like Enphase Energy, Q Cells, and Solaria, backed by a standard 25-year workmanship warranty. However, due to industry challenges, Erus Energy ceased operations and is permanently closed as of early 2024. While the company is no longer in business, manufacturer warranties on the installed equipment may still be valid, but Erus’s labor and service warranties are no longer honored.
